Interview and Interrogation in the Investigation of a Crime

by, Narayan Chand Thakur

The Worldwide WEB is a wonderful device. Conducting searches allows one to visit the most distant lands when searching for information. One WEB site that we stumbled across in a recent journey published a very interesting article that seeks, in part, to address the distinction between "interview" and "interrogation."

The source of the article? A WEB site published from Nepal! Yes, Nepal! The author describes himself as follows:

I am a retired police officer with a long service record of 32 years in Nepal Police. I have served as a criminal investigator, chief instructor of criminal investigation, and district, zonal and regional commander of Nepal Police. I have also served as Joint Commandant of Nepal Police Academy and Director of Police Training.

The article is worth reading on its own, but after finishing the article, you might want to follow some of the site links. I found one that gives a panoramic view of Mt. Everest.
